anyone know if Main Street Photo Supply is open during extra magic hours?

Ill need to pick up my photo pass plus and was wondering if it will be open.....im guessing you can only pick it up there and at DCA. There is nowhere at downtown Disney?

No DTD site.. and the shops open at park opening,, I was there last week and had to wait till park open...
I have heard that if you have a breakfast at Goofys .. and get the photopass plus you can activate it there and get your lanyard.

I called DL Guest Services last week to inquire about this. They couldn't say for sure whether it opened prior to rope drop, but they did say that it definitely opens at the regular park opening time. Except if it's a Magic Morning day, then it's open at the time that Magic Morning hour starts.

We ran into the same problem and we just had photos taken and used the same card and they were able to link it to the PhotoPass when we picked it up later in the day

That's good to know! We might go that route. That 1st hour after the park opens is precious ride time and I don't want to have to wait forever in a line at the Main Street camera shop to get the PP+ card.

I was told that you only need the PP+ lanyard/card for the ride photos and the character meal photo packages. So if you do opt to go on a ride with a ride photo before you pick-up your lanyard, write down the photo number (or take a photo - that's what I did) and then once you have the PP+ card, go back to the ride and have them add the photo to your PP+ card.
