Anyone know if length of stay mugs from HH work in WDW?

That's an interesting question. Sorry, I don't know the answer though! But if I'm correct, aren't the "length of stay" mugs supposed to be good for 14 days, so that even if you switch resorts they work. I'll bet a few people stop at HHI on the way to WDW and want to buy their mugs there and hope they can continue using them at their next resort, which is at WDW. It seems that it would be right for them to work, but that doesn't mean they do! I hope someone can check in with experience on this.

I wouldn't think that Disney would spend the money to provide a data network between the mug machines outside of WDW and the mug machines inside of WDW.

We bought mugs last year at Vero Beach and they worked later in the week at WDW. We're planning to do the same when we split a stay this summer between HHI and PVB.

Pretty cool, I wouldn't think that Disney would tie all of the machines together.

Awesome, thanks so much @jgdsoarin! Do you also happen to remember if the mugs are the same design at the beach resorts as they are at WDW? Maybe we'll see you this summer since we're also hitting HHI on our way to WDW. ;)

When we went in November, they were the same design. I remember that because I was disappointed. I was hoping for HHI-specific-looking mugs.

We went in September. We started our trip with one night in WDW for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween followed by 6 nights at Hilton Head. I specifically asked the cast member at WDW (Old Key West) if we bought a length of stay cup if it would work at Hilton Head. She had no clue. She went to ask a manager and the manager confirmed it would work. We took the chance and bought one.

To our surprise, it worked perfectly at Hilton Head with no issues. I too was surprised they tied everything in together, but they did! It's the little things in life....

This is great news...Being that we'll have our 1st 2 days in VB then 9 at BWV, followed by2 at HH... Thanks for the info..

I doubt it is any harder to tie Hilton Head or Vero to a resort in WDW than it is to tie the resorts within WDW together. There is not a hard wire between the coke machines, so they have to communicate through a network anyway.

Has anyone else tried to put a Disneyland dining reservation into your MDE account? It logs it in as the correct restaurant, it just changes your Pacific Time to Eastern Standard Time (at least it did the last two times I went to Disneyland).
