Probably not but can't hurt to ask!LOL We are travelling to the US on Christmas day...cannot take meat across the border and there won't be any grocery stores open to buy food to make in the hotel. I was wondering if anyone thought maybe Friendly's might be open as there is one by our hotel in Maine.

I'd suggest looking for a Chinese restaurant in the area. You could spend a traditional Jewish Christmas - Chinese food and a movie - since those are the two places that are always open on Christmas day.

He're some Catholics who had Chinese on Christmas Day a few years ago, too! We were all laid up with the flu for days before...my husband and I barely got the presents under the tree...we were so happy to get some moo-shi chicken and crab rangoon on the holiest day of the year! It hit the spot, though. Good luck finding something and have a Merry Christmas!

I lived in Maine years ago. The capital, Augusta as a matter of fact. Town only had 1 chinese restaurant at that time. If you are lucky where ever you are staying there will be more than that, or there will be a 24 hour convenience store open. Your hotel may have a restaurant too. You can call your hotel and ask them what will be open in the area on Christmas day also.

Check to make sure, but a few years ago we traveled to FL on Christmas day, the only place open on Christmas were Denny's restaurants, i think their motto is 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Check to be sure
