Anyone know if any water rides are refurbing in Jan?

Every time I've gone in January or early Feb, one or more of the water rides are shut for Refurb (Popeye's, Jurassic, or Ripsaw Falls).

I don't see anything on any calendars on Universal's site as of yet.

Do you think they're just further waiting to announce any of these closures? Or is there a chance they are not going down for refurb this Jan?

Ripsaw Falls definitely is usually closed for a good time. They recently did a refurb for Jurassic this year, so I doubt they'd would do anything to that one. As for Popeye it's possible. Touring Plans website says anything, but I think it's because it's based off of this year, not next year yet, which is when Jan is.

It's typically the best time to do a refurb is Jan, or Feb, because they'd have really low wait times anyway. I mean, unless you have protection you shouldn't be getting on those water rides anyway. I've been on Ripsaw (for example) in the dead heat of the summer and the water would be freezing as it'd slam against my body.
