Anyone know how busy it is around the time of 14th December?

We're looking at going to DLP at christmas again next year, however due to university the earlier we would be able to go would be around the 14th December, or the week of the 16th (monday)

I know this is usually the week before most schools break up for holidays, not sure about other countries but I know for england this is the case.

Does anyone how busy these times usually are? Going during half term in October was such a nightmare I think we would actually prefer to not go at all than to go during a busy time, as it really was so horrific! Last time at christmas we went at the end of November/early December and it wasn't very busy at all. Anyone know other dates during Christmas season that it won't be as busy?

we are going next week from tuesday to friday, so i can let you know how busy it is!

the friday [21st] is when the hotel rates go up for 'peak' season, whereas our arrival date isn't peak season. we are staying at the santa fe, two adults, for 3 nights with tickets for £250! great deal!
