Anyone know exactly how wide the DCA entrance gates are?

2 yrs ago we borrowed a double side by side stroller for our DL trip. It was great - wouldn't have been without it, except when trying to get into DCA. The wheel base was slightly too wide - thank goodness it was the "accordion fold" type, so we'd just pop the braces in the back, fold it up widthwise a teeny tiny bit (with the kids still inside) and head on our merry way!

Since then I've bought a used double side by side which folds up differently - can't fold it without unloading EVERYTHING - kids, basket contents, etc... I know, a royal pain, but it was so cheap! So now I am worried - what if it doesn't fit thru the gates, and we are blocking lines trying to fold the dang thing up every time we hop to DCA?

I know my friend takes her double side by side jogging stroller and it never fits thru the gates at DCA. They have to go and open the exit gates for her every time. It sometimes takes time to get a CM over there.

We have to do this every time unless we use the GCH entrance.

Yeah, we have a side by side and have to wait by the exit gate to get in. A CM is usually there within a minute; we have never had to wait long!

wow, glad I clicked on this post, we are heading there in a few weeks with our double side by side jogger. So help me with this, do I go tothe regular turn style, give them our tickets then back out to the exit or do I just head straight to the exit?

You have to go to the turnstyle first so they can scan your ticket. BTW...this is a huge pain during the Trick or Treat Party.
