Anyone know appx. taxie fare from LAX to DLR area ??

My co-worker said it is appx. $2.40 first mile and then $.40/ per 1/6 mile?
I am sooooo bad at math I am blank at the thought of trying to figure that out...........

Yellow Cab charges 2.20 for flag drop, .20 ea 1/11th of a mile ( or 2.20 per mile) and than another 2.50 surcharge if you are coming from LAX. There is also a charge if you get stuck in traffic. According to Mapquest, the distance from LAX to Disneyland is 33.53 miles. So if you add it all up, the cab fare would be around 78.00 dollars. Not exactly cheap. They do have a flat rate of 38.00 for going into downtown L.A. so maybe there is some sort of flat rate going to DL.

Taxi is not the way to get around in CA. You are looking at $50 - $150 +

The way to go is the Disney shuttle. If you call the concierge at the Grand Californian they will give you the details and cost. If you can't reach them, it is a local call for me and I'd be happy to call for you.

A cab is going to be $85-100 each way. Its not the best option. I would recomend super shuttle, the airport bus or renting a car. Car rentals in CA are very cheap for some reason.

hi there, when we went in may we used primetime shuttle and booked a private van...we didnt want an express bus or shared shuttle as we wanted to go directly to our motel...it was 2 dollars more to go private than it was shared...77 dollars each way for our family....

I also will recommend the Supershuttle. ANYONE can pick up a shuttle as soon as they get to the airport. It is $10 per person each way, and it takes you right to the hotel. You can also book it to pick you up from the hotel and take you straight back to the airport.

There is one little catch though. The shuttle might hold up to 8 people, so say you are travelling on your own, or with 2 other people, you might get a shuttle with complete strangers who are going to a different DL hotel then you, so you might have to make a quick stop to that DL hotel on the way to your DL hotel, but for the cost its well worth it, and its only a quick stop if you have a delay.
