Anyone know anything about Joovy sit and stand strollers?

I was at a consignment sale the other day and they had a Joovy stroller that was practically brand new for only $125, retails for $399! It is the Big Caboose with the platform and bench on the back with two seats in the front.

I could potentially become "1rockinmamato3" soon and we would need a triple stroller. IF this works out, we would have three children 3 and under. And I would definitely need a stroller like this.

I know Joovy is supposed to be a reputable brand, but I'm not sure if we would like the stand/bench feature, or more specifically, if DS would. I had been looking at triple strollers with three seats. DS is on the small side, so his size wouldn't be a factor for some time.

I'm not sure if I should pass up this deal. With nothing being definite yet, I am afraid to invest the $125 (which I know I could resell if this didn't work out) and I'm afraid if I don't get it (if it's even still there) I may regret this awesome deal if we do adopt this new baby.

Opinions and advice on these Joovy strollers are greatly appreciated! :thumbsup2

I have the Joovy sit 'n stand with my 3 little ones and I LOVE it! Mind is the smaller joovy with one seat in front and the jumper seat in back. My kids are 4, 3 and 16 months. The baby sits in front (of course!) and the other 2 will take turns on the back or both sit together (my oldest is tiny).

Oh, and congratulations on your newest addition! Isn't adoption wonderful!!! Our oldest was adopted from China...she made us a family!

I also have the Joovy and love it. We bought it when my 2nd was a couple months old - after I decided the GracoDuo that I just bought stunk (and I LOVED my Graco Quatro for my first one!). The Joovy is light weight, it could be a little more plush for my taste. My son (oldest) wouldn't ride in the GracoDuo. He hated it. Got the Joovy and he thinks that Joovy jump seat is so cool --- a really "Big Boy" seat. It doesn't seem to slide at all while we are using it, although I had read some reviews on that. The seatbelt works well on the jump and there are handles to stand and hold on, but I've never let him do that. The basket isnt' much help, and if a cup holder is important to you, I've attached the Prince Lionheart ones with no problem. Only negative for me is no place to hang my bag, but that is small potatoes compared to other issues I've had with strollers. I think you will be happy with it.

I must comment though, $125 used? I think I paid that new for mine. I hope that is for the 3 seater. If not, I'd check around for a better deal.

thats a good deal, I would snatch it up. They have good resale value if nothing else.

Thank you for the words of congratulations. We are hoping this happens. If it does, it will be our last child and our family will be complete. If not, then we may officially seek to adopt again within a year or so. The current potential situation has just been offered to us, so we shall see!

Your kids are cuties, by the way!!!

Thanks for sharing your child's experience with the jump seat. That's the biggest thing that concerns me. He's a wild child so I'm wondering how that's going to work. LOL!

This Joovy is the two seater with the jump seat. I looked it up on online and I saw that it retails for $399.

EEEK!!! I have been thinking about it all day. I think I may call and see if its still there. It was listed as No Discount, so it won't be reduced further.

I'll keep you all posted. :upsidedow

Thanks for the advice!!!
