for the first time ever, i'm actually going to shop in orlando (other than for souvenirs)..

i usually shop when i'm in detroit visiting my family, but since i'll be in orlando on my own for 9 whole days, i realised i'll have a lot more freedom to shop when i'm there (rather than in detroit where i already know everyone wants to spend time with me after my being away for almost 3 years)...

so....now i have to do some serious shopping research....woo hoo!! i love to shop!!

anyway.....eyeglasses.....has anyone bought prescription sunglasses in orlando?

i don't want a cheap store...well it can be inexpensive, but if i have to choose between quality and price, i'll go with quality where glasses are concerned..

so is anyone familiar with eyeglass stores in the orlando area?

even if you didn't like a place, that would also be good to know!

thanks in advance!! :)

My mum went to the one in Millenia right outside of Macy on the top floor.
She had a fantastic experience and her glasses were ready in one hour.
She gives it a big :thumbsup2

that's Lenscrafters - i found them on the map of the mall...
right next to macys...
that's a big discount chain...
did they also check your mom's eyes?

that's good to hear she was happy as i've heard they have very good prices....so if they're cheap and good that would be perfect...

glasses are so expensive where i live...i just spent over a £1,000 on a pair and i really should also get prescription sunglasses, but not at that price...

i'll check them out when i'm there...

Yes both she and my grandma had their eyes tested aswell.
My grandma actually has an eye condition which has been helped greatly by the help and advice they gave her.
They both bought designer sunglasses and glasses, both prescription. I think mum's are Chanel. They found them to be a really good deal. Certainly way under £1000. :thumbsup2
