Just wanted to see if anyone just back knows for sure that both of these great (but I know were temporary) perks are officially gone?

Little Ones Magic Hour at MK and the Disney Visa Meet and Greet at Epcot were both to end September 30. My guess is that they are, indeed, gone but I wanted to find out for sure.

Anyone know?

Any CMs out there who know the answer?

Thanks!

Don't know about the Visa one, but the Little Ones EMH has ended.

Thank you for letting me know. I thought it was but just wanted to be sure.

We didn't get to experience it but I wish I did...instead we ate at CP. Oh well.

The visa Character Meet N Greet ended the 30th. I went to it on the 28th and it was basically a little room at Innoventions and Mickey and Pluto were in there with a house backround taking a few pictures. Im sure more promotions will come out for Visa members ;)

Yes, I've done it a few times in the last year; it was GREAT! But I was hoping for first-hand confirmation that it is gone because some on other threads are saying it was extended another year.

I knew it was suppose to end this Sept 30 since it was a "Happiest Celebration" perk and it has been taken off the Disney Visa website as well.

Anyone have first-hand info that its over?

I thought I read several months ago that visa was extending it.

Yes, I know. I read that too, but it was taken off the website after it said 'ending soon'.

That is why I'd love a first-hand account of someone whose done it since Oct 1.

Anyone?

I wondered this too. I read the same thing that some of the promotions were extended. I guess we will have to wait a bit longer to see.

DM and I did it (if it's the one in Innoventions) on 10/2 and got our free photo--so it seems like it's still on.

Thank you! I also saw a first-hand account on another Disney Visa thread. Its great news indeed. :thumbsup2

Anyone have any idea how long it's going to last?

Cool - I did this with BF in May and will do it with DH in November.

DH, grandsons & I got our pictures with Minnie on 09/26 and DH and I will be going back in December. Is it crazy for these 2 old grandparents to get pictures with the characters? ;)

Not crazy at all. My DH and I got ours taken twice last week with the Visa offer and there were all the other many pictures we had done with our own cameras or the photo pass people. We are kids also when we are at WDW and we have every right to have our pictures taken with them!!!

Don't forget to check out the character connection at Epcot also. It was great and there was never a line. There were always 5 or 6 characters in there with photopass people.

Not at all! DD and I have done character pictures for a while now. I just went to WDW with just myself and an old friend from college. When we were planning, she refused to discuss meeting characters, going to a character meal etc. I figured oh well, it's just one trip and there's so much else to do. Well, she decided that first, she liked Norwegian food enough to go to Akershus after I assured her that the Princesses wouldn't be all over her if she dind't want it and then, once we were there, she decided that she wanted a 'cheesy' picture of her with Mickey to send her brother as a joke. Well! I guess she enjoyed it because she wound up taking pictures with a whole bunch of different characters and having fun. It was fun to see her 'get it' and go for it and we sure weren't the only adult groups in line for the pictures. :)

You won't feel out of place at all. I suspect that the characters kind of enjoy meeting adults since they seem to play things up a lot with them. Go and enjoy! Hug Goofy, wiggle your tush with Donald, let Chip and Dale goof around...... :joker:
