Just wondering if anyone went to BB lately. Is it warm enough? Temps don't seem that promising on the forecast- it the water heated? We were wondering if BB is a possibility on our Jan 22-25 trip- we are trying to streach our 6 day hopper over this short vacation and a 2 week vacation in August and only want to use 1 park day this time. This was a spur of the moment trip, and since we also have 3 plusses, we were wondering if a BB was an option- But I also don't want to freeze, either!!

I would want it to be at least in the 80's for a water park. Have a fun trip:earsboy:

Just back, & did BB last Saturday. We had unseasonably warm weather, & had a beautiful day! It was in the 80's & humid.

Last year, though, we went to BB during our 1st week of Dec trip & there were less guests in the park than there were CM's. We're Cdn, so it wasn't that cold to us, but it was chilly out of the water. At about 12:30 they decided to shut the park down. We were told it was because the can't keep the water temp up when the air temp drops too much. It may have had to do with the low attendance, too.

It's very cold right now in Orlando, so BB may not even be open. I think you'll have to leave it up in the air until it gets close & you can get a more accurate forcast.
Good luck, & have a great trip!

We went to BB also last Saturday. The air was a little chilly but the water was great. However today it was very cold here. I would pack your suits just in case but be prepared to have an alternate plan if it's to cold.

I asked a simialr question a couple of weeks ago (we'll be there soon, too) and several people told me they've done water parks in January and insisted that they are not Polar Bears. (sounds suspicious to me)

I'm just hoping for warm weather. I don't know that I'd swim for much cooler than about 80 degrees. somehow that sentence is worded wrongly--this one too.

Keep your fingers crossed for WARM sunny days:sunny:

Just went to BB last Sunday (1/4)...it was about 80 or so and sunny. Wasn't cold walking from different attractions, and the water was warm! Hope you have good weather. Summit Plummet is scary, but the view is well worth it!
