Anyone in the parks currently??? Looking for Evie Costume

DD just informed me that she wants to be Evie from the Descendants. The Disney Store appears to be sold out of them currently. Has anyone seem them in the parks by any chance? I am hoping to pick one up when I am there in a few weeks.

If it's a Disney Store product they won't have it in the parks. Earlier this week I didn't see any costumes out yet. Have you tried Party City, Spirit Halloween or the other costume sites? They've been licensed.

Chasing Fireflies has a couple of cute Evie costumes, and their costumes are usually high quality. Typically they are higher priced too, but if I remember right that one was about the same price as the Disney store version. They had the day clothes and the coronation one. I have also seen it on several of the costume websites. We have gotten stuff in the past from buycostumes and costumeexpress.

If that is what she wants to be, I would hunt it down quickly and not wait. It is what ALL the kids seem to want to be for Halloween this year. DD and her friend originally wanted to be Evie and Mal so I was looking at those costumes. , but then changed their minds, when comparing notes with other friends and about EVERYONE in their age group said they wanted to be Evie or Mal. They decided they did not want to look like everyone else. Those costumes seem huge with the 7 to 10 year old age range of kids. Those costumes are going to sell out fast.

Thanks for the reply SMD. I do not like the Party City version since it does not come with the jacket . There is one that Chasing Fireflies put out, that is closer to the Disney Store costume I may consider...but I usually prefer to get the Disney version if there is one available.

Chasing Fireflies is out of Evie too...but there are some on ebay that are not outrageous.

I was just at the Disney Store outlet at Arizona Mills mall here in Phoenix (Tempe, actually). They have four Evie costumes in stock right now, in varying sizes. Definitely a 5/6, and maybe also a 7/8 - I don't remember exactly. Give the store a call directly. They could probably send you one.
