Anyone In Niagara Falls this weekend.

Hi Anyone going to be in the falls this weekend. We are heading down and staying at the Comfort Inn on Clifton Hill. DH can't waite, he needs a small holliday. DH, DD14 and I will be in Buffalo on Saturday, hoping to get some good deals. Then DD17 and her boyfriend are heading down after work for the night. Hoping to have a nice family supper someplace, swimming, HOTTUB and their free breakfast.

Haven't stayed there for a while, but it is a nice hotel. I love the location, being right on Clifton Hill. And you can't beat the free brekkie!!!!

We are hoping to go down to Niagara Falls over March Break on a midweek 2 night package, but the prices for that week, OUCH!

Hi again. Would you believe that I was just talking to my older brother,and guess where he is going this weekend? Yup. Shopping over in Buffalo and coming back over to stay at the Falls View Inn. We should meet up for supper on Saturday night.

We are going to Niagara Falls this weekend. We got the Travelzoo promo at The Embassy suites that included $50 for the Keg, shuttle passes and 5 drinks at managers cocktail party. We choose cityview, 2 queen, two room suite for only $100.00!! We wanted to take the kids to see the lights. My kids are so excited. We will also be heading to the US outlets on Saturday.

How far are the outlets from Niagara Falls?

Hi again. Canadian or American outlets? The Canadian are right on Lundy's Lane, right across from the Ramada Inn. A brand new Garage Outlet just opened up, of course with two teenage DD's we are going thier too.
The American is about 10min. from the border, but we got to get BOB EVENS before we start shopping.

We shopped at the US outlets and brought back around $250. worth of kids cloths, toys and a shirt for my husband and a sweater for myself. We were only there for 3 hours. At the boarder they asked us what we spent, and we told them $250 on kids cloths and toys. He then wanted to look at our receipts. We had them ready and then he said thanks, that was it. Have a nice day. Love those oulets.

The Embassy Suites in NF was wonderful. Great hotel and great value. FYI anyone interested in the $110 special, travelzoo is offering it again at Travelzoo.ca. Can't beat that price for a full service hotel. The view from the Keg in the Embassy suites was amazing. We used our $50 voucher there for supper, and enjoyed our free breakfast buffet there aswell.

I just came back from the US on Saturday crossing at the Lewiston Bridge. We were over to Ohio for a family matter and weren't the required 48 hours for bringing duty-free purchases back. However, I did stop in a drug store to get some items that aren't available here. I never lie to the border guards and told him what I had and he just waved me through. But I never count on it and am prepared to pay the taxes and duties if asked. So far, it hasn't happened.
