I use Priceline a lot too. Go to www.biddingfortravel.com and read up on it first. Be sure to read the FAQ's if nothing else as it explains how to use the system if you are not American. You need an Amex or Mastercard or a US Visa card as they do not yet take Canadian Visa. I paid 65/us/night for Downtown Disney this time last year, the rack rate is much higher. My best Priceline deal to date was the Hyatt Regency Maui for 150ish/us/night(usually starts at 350 and goes up from there.)You really cannot control smoking/non smoking requests or how many beds and what size etc. I had one night where my family of 2 adults and 2 kids got a little burned as we were given a very nice one bedroom suite but it only had a king size bed and a couch. We ended up needing a roll a way but it was 35/night to rent!!!Oh well, it did have a beautiful view. I also phone ahead to the hotel, usually about 24 to 48 hours after having successfully bid on Priceline to confirm and sweetly request the specifics I need.We also do this at check in. I was so nervous about using it the first time and now love to do it! Good luck, Suzanne
