We're already doing the monthly payment plan for Sea World and Busch Gardens. I was just looking up adding Aquatica as well. So I am trying to decide whether to add the 3rd park or just fully upgrade to the platinum.

What exactly are "ride again privileges"?

Also, how good is the preferred seating to the shows?

I have the SuperGrover pass which acts just like the Platinum pass, but is way cheaper.

Never had tried the ride again.

The seating is great seating.
For Shamu it is in middle up high.
Best part is no so much that the view is better (which it is) but that you do not have to worry about waiting around for Shamu to open to get a good seat.
We went during Christmas last time when you would hear the constant announcement that show was full and no more seating.
We would arrive shortly before show, walk past all the people having to sit on the side or wondering around hoping to find a seat.
Show out passes and get a great seat.

My family have had platinum passes for years. We've used the ride again privileges and it's easy, when they are unloading the ride, just show them your platinum pass and they'll let you stay on. You might be able to move but I've never tried, we've just kept the same seats we already had. We usually only use it on the roller coasters.

Don't forget to check out the Platinum pass discount for Discovery Cove. This spring, we'll be going back for our third time. It's about $50 saving a ticket.

It's nice to have the free preferred parking at all the parks, so we can drop by and catch a favorite show without a second thought (I'm a sucker for Blue Horizons at SeaWorld).

We've always been able to find a spot in the priority seating, but haven't gone during peak periods. Even during the slow season, there is an usher stationed by the priority seating who will check for a platinum pass. Sometimes the usher will open the reserved seating up to the general audience immediately before the show begins.
