If so, how was it? Who was there? Is it just whatever chefs are available doing demos that week? And if you came in thru the IG, what time did they let you in for a 9:00-9:30 event. If you can, I'd really appreciate hearing exactly what happened at this event. A sit and listen to biographies? Just an informal roam around and talk to chefs? Just wondering-I know it's a free event, so anything's OK with me, but I'm wondering what to expect.

We did the meet today it is in the little room where Chase use to be at the Festival Center. It took all of 2 minutes if that, you go into the room shake hands with the chef and some small talk and you are back outside. DH and I are still laughing, have no idea what we expected but it was really fast.
They let us into the Festival Center at 9am.

Thanks-so am I correct that it's not for the whole time of 9:00-9:30? That you just show up sometime DURING that time period for the meet and greet? The reason I'm wondering is that I was afraid that, since I'm coming in through the IG and I walk very slowly, I'll miss almost half of it. But from what you said, as long as I get there before 9:30, I won't miss anything.

Thanks for asking this! We had signed up for this but somewhere in my head I was thinking there would be some small talk given or quick demonstration or something. Not just say hi, get a picture and be on our way. I would have been very surprised! :rotfl:

I believe if this were a Disney Chef things would have been different.
I forgot to add that the Chef did ask us to buy their book.
Also the Sushi Candy demo is suppose to be wonderful.
