Anyone here belong to Church of God?

We recently moved and have been attending a Church of God. We are members of the United Methodist Church from our old town. We chose this new church because it is very large, contemporary and has a lot of families. There are many activities for children. The Methodist church in this town is small and there are not many children in it. Can anyone tell me some of the beliefs of the Church of God? So far I haven't found anything disagreeable. We were at a conservative Methodist church. I was raised going to Pentacostal and Presbyterian churches and DH was Catholic and DD went to a Baptist school for 3 years. We don't care which Protestant denomination it is as long as it is similar to our beliefs.

Have you gone to www.churchofgod.cc? This is the website for the governing body of the church.

I'm not sure what the main differences are but there is also an "Assemblies of God" church. (Just letting you know, because I think they are very different in some aspects) I've attended an Assemblies of God church for a while and could speak to that, but I don't think I could for the other.

Hopefully somebody will be able to help out more than I have!

Assembly of God Churches are Pentacost. My grandmother went to those.
