Anyone hear of this?

A relative of mine who lives near Fort Pierce, Florida told us that Disney has bought a bit of property and is planning on building a new resort there.
Has anyone heard about this? I am really interested. I wish they would build something in on the East Coast not too far from NY?

They already have a resort right down the road in Vero Beach...
In fact, they have sold some of the extra land associated with that resort.

I am familiar with Vero Beach, we stayed there this past summer. We really loved it, but the "new" resort is supposed to be not too far from there.

Well, you never know, but I doubt it. Disney (DVC) had a hard time selling out the Vero Beach Resort, and there is still vacancy much of the year.
I don't see the need for another, but what do I know?
