anyone ever hear of or use Michael Sullivan / WINPoint VIP to rent for Bonnet Creek?? Has good ebay feedback.. TIA :)

ok I guess I will take that as a No... he is almost $500 cheaper than VS..

I used him for my trip this upcoming March. He is very helpful on the phone if you want to call him.

Joining this thread late (sorry). I've completed two trips booked through Michael Sullivan / WinPointVIP and have two more in planning stages now. Everything worked "exactly as promised"!

I have booked through him twice in the past 2 years on ebay . Both times for a presidential suite at wyndham wilderness in the smokies. He is very professional and willing to work with you to find the best time/deal . We had a blast on both trips and never had any kinds of problems. I have him on my list of favorite sellers in ebay.:)

Thanks for the feed back, so glad to hear!.. we ended up booking thru him for our end of May trip, it will be the 60 day mark end of Month, so should have ressie switched into our name then? :)

We have booked through him for an upcoming stay this weekend. Will post and let you know how it goes! Just FYI...we paid $400 for a 3 night stay in a 3 bedroom deluxe.

My reservations were put into my name on the "very last day to cancel" per agreement.

Edited to add: My agreement with WinPointVIP may be different than yours. (I didn't buy the reservations through eBay.)

Bumping to see if anyone has recent feedback on this company. I can't find them on the BBB. So far he has been very responsive, but this is our first time trying to book at WBC and I'm nervous because I've read about some people getting scammed. The rental company gives them a confirmation number but when they arrive to check in there is no record of them in the system! :( Vacation Strategies and Vacation Upgrades are both booked for our dates.
Thanks all!

I don't understand the last line (show in bold). I assume that the sentence before that is generic in nature and not specific to reports concerning WinPoint VIP?

My last completed trip with WinPoint VIP was Sept 2014 and I have another booked for Sept 2015. I've had no troubles with any of the reservations booked through WinPoint VIP.

Oh, sorry. That was poorly worded by me. Was at work and between patients when I wrote it :) I have NOT read reports of WinPoint VIP scamming consumers. It was in reference to a few other "companies". I have only heard good things about both VS and VU. Just haven't heard as much about WinPoint VIP (positive or negative) and that's why I was "bumping" this thread.

Thanks again!

Ah, ok - thx. I had never heard of either VS or VU and didn't understand if you had reservations booked ("in hand") through both and were trying for a third -- or if they were both "sold out" (having nothing available for your dates; "booked solid"). Language! ;)

Edited to add ... the language confusion has me chuckling over the word picture of two pandas. One is holding smoking gun as he walks off ... the other is stuffing his face.

I've booked with Michael for Wyndham Bonnet Creek for our trip for the last week of May--7 nights for $850 total for a 2 bedroom. I had asked for quotes from not only him, but also Vacation Upgrades and Vacation Strategy, but those two places had no 2 bedrooms for our week, only 1 bedroom presidentials, and for several hundred dollars more than Michael quoted for the 2 bedroom. Since a good friend of mine has already had a successful stay booking with Michael, I went with him.

I'm the original OP, we did book through Michael and took our trip May of 2014 (10 nights) we had no problems what so ever.. would book again with him

Good to hear! I've contacted him, and will likely book thru him. He's very prompt in his replies so far! Quoted me $1000 for 6 nights in June. Does that sound reasonable??

$133 a night, yes, reasonable for June. We booked a 2BR in June for 6 nights with our points back in January and had a hard time finding that. We had to switch our arrival date a bit.
