Anyone hear anything about rehab for Splash Mountain?

On my past three trips in May 2004, May 2005 and July 2005 I noticed some serious problems on the ride. Animatronics that never worked during the entire trip, rips in the background, garbled audio or audio that didn't work at all. Also, everytime that we rode it it broke down. Twice we were stuck on it for more than 30 minutes. This past July trip it was down twice when we went to ride it and we did not get to use our FP's. I was just wondering if anyone knoew if it was scheduled to go down anytime soon?

Im not sure about any rehab, but I went on it last week and everything seemed to be working great, no bad animatronics or sound. IT wasnt closed once when I was there.

I didnt realize splash mountain was built in 1992, when I was 7 back in 87 I could have swore I rode that ride.

You probally did ride space mountain in 1987 because I know I rode it back in the 1970's. You may be thinking of the Space Mountain in DP because DP opened in 1992. I wonder why your mouseplanet website was ******** out? As far as Space Mountain goes, for rehab, I checked the rehab sites and didn't see it scheduled for anything.

Be careful, there was a post recently from a mod explaining that the site you linked to is banned for some reason, and that trying to get around the word filter (starring) could get you in trouble . Just thought I should warn you.

I dont think Walt Disney World Magic is banned, its a popular website. Look at it, its very nice with lots of detail and pics to the parks . Just go to google and type in splash moutnain rehab and its top of the page. wdwmagic .
