We bought at Vero last year and stayed there for the first time over Thanksgiving for a week in a one bedroom. We absolutely love it and plan on cutting our vacations in Orlando short so we can hit Vero on every trip.
With that said, I wish I had bought into Boardwalk instead. We go to Disney every other year sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas. The sales rep really put the pressure on us to buy at Vero, especially with they buy back incentive. Now that I am planning our annual WDW world trip, I am finding a hard time making reservations, since many people go the same time we do, and obviously had the 11 month window, so there is not much availability. I plan on trying to firm up ressies today. I wish I had understood better the whole 11 month vs 7 month window thing. I really confused me until recently.
With this upcoming trip, I am hoping that we can secure ressies somewhere over the holidays, probably OKW, and then when everyone transfers over to BCV when they open then we can transfer our ressies to the Boardwalk, lol. Does this sound like a good plan?
I just wanted to let you know that although we absolutely love Vero, I wish I had understood the whole
DVC process better. DH keeps telling me he "explained it, and explained it to me, and even kept asking me if I understood and I said yes, so it is not his fault:
BUT, he is not the one trying to make vacation plans, I am, he just goes when and where I tell him, ( only for vacations, though, lol).
