Anyone have travel blogs?

Hi all

I am going to start a travel blog to keep a record of all our adventures. I have never done one before. I have been looking at a site called bugbitten because they allow you to add privacy settings to your travel blog and as far as I could see with all the others you couldn't do that unless you paid to sign up.

Does anyone else use any blogs or recommend any others?

I have been reading along with your blog - actually it was one of the things that convinced me that I had to start one. I am a bit thingy about the privacy settings because I want to add photos and having my kids on the www for all to see kind of freaks me out a little.

I have one, http://becstravel.blogspot.com - I also didn't look into privacy settings as I wanted people to see it - trying to gain writing experience, so the more people who see it the better.

I'd love to read along with yours too if you wouldn't mind PMing me the link.

Also, for those interested, I'm a member of www.exposeyourblog.com which is a blog sharing community, you read other people's blogs and others see yours for more exposure.

I know what you mean. I did a blog rather then a trip report on here because I wanted to share photos and my kids names etc (I hate writing DD, DH etc) but I'm a little freaked out that my blog thread has nearly 3500 views! I never imagined that many people reading it. Once I'm done and you guys have read it I think I'll look into making it private so that it's just a memory for my family.

Hi all

I have PM'ed all those that have requested a link to my blog, sorry that it took so long. I forgot the cord to my camera though so unless I can find a new one I can't add pics till we get home.

ehsmum, the Hollywood christmas parade was fun. It is only on the Sunday following Thanksgiving, so just once a year. I can't remember all the Disney stars we saw (the kids could answer that question though), the ones I can remember are Jackson from Hannah Montana, the asian girl who is either Amber or Ashley from Hannah Montana, the little brother and parents from Wizards of Waverley place, some kid called Jimmy Bennett (DD1 was sooooo excited about this one ) off a movie called Shorts. If I remember any of the others I will let you know. I did see Ridge off The Bold and the Beautiful, and he is not nearly as weird looking in real life as he is on the TV

Anyway, off to the AP sale at World of Disney to see if I can get me some bargains, then off to Ariels Grotto for breakfast.

Most laptops (I'm assuming that's what you're on) have SD/XD card readers, you should be able to get the pics off that way if you want too. I've never used my camera cable. Not that I'm rushing you or anything!! lol
