Anyone have things shipped to the hotel ahead of time?

I did a bit of shipping online and had it shipped to the hotel! I live in Canada so shipping is so expensive from the US, so I thought this would be a good idea...people that have had things shipped before, do you aways receive it? Anything the hotel lost?
(I made sure my arrial date was put on it!)

Not exactly what you are asking, but I have a story about the response from the resorts before your arrival.

My wonderful boyfriend surprised me with a postcard from Mickey. It arrived at my home before we left, saying "See Ya Soon". He traced an older Mickey signature onto it. He mailed it to Caribbean Beach resort with postage and asked them to put it in the mail, so it had the WDW postmark. They were great to accomodate. I was surprised and had no idea where it came from, until he confessed.

We shipped a big box with our Halloween costumes in it last October to the BWV and things worked out great! I called ahead of time to find out exactly how to address it. We got a call our second day and they delivered it right to our door!

I sent a box of "treats" for our daughter to the resort one time (Boardwalk). When we checked in, they delivered it to our room about 30 minutes after we arrived! I decorated the box with Mickey stickers and stuff, so she was surprised!
