Anyone have reports on AKV concierge??

I'm can't wait to see a report from someone. There was a thread that someone posted in saying they had stayed there, but there weren't any details.
 

I have not stayed in the DVC villas on the club level yet, but as compared to my cash reservation two years ago I am disappointed. I have yet to hear from them concerning an April vacation. I did email but got no response. With the cash reservation I had a survey to fill out and mail back at exactly the 180 day mark. I hate to go in with a bad attitude, but so far I am not impressed. I only had one ADR I would have had them make and if it is too late than we will just not go--it isn't like I'd be disappointed if we can't go. We opted for the CL after our cruise since we have no park days planned and we will be staying around the resort.We'll see maybe they got my email, took care of the details and just didn't bother to let me know. :confused3
 
I contacted concierge myself about 190 days out - I was just so excited I couldn't wait for them. I have had nothing but perfect and timely responses from Don and Terry and they were able to make all my reservations for me. So that part, I'm very happy with. They did recently change email addresses so maybe they didn't get your email?? I would try again!! You don't want to miss the Sunrise Safari (or so I've heard).

I think it is going to take time for the staff to fully embrace the transition to DVC. I was initially contacted by letter to welcome me and detail their services. I then emailed my request for the Sunrise Safari and they booked it and emailed me back to confirm.

I called Concierge last month to make some last minute ADR's and the lady could not find my reservation. It seems DVC is under a separate category from CRO bookings and she was looking in the CRO bookings. So be sure to state that you are AKV Concierge not AKL Concierge in your emails and phone calls.

This is their first week of Concierge stays and Im sure there will be some missteps but I think it will work out.
We dont plan on staying concierge often, if ever again, but it is nice to have the option.
 
I'm 152 days out from my stay that includes AKV Concierge and have had no contact with them. Tried calling multiple times during their working hours using the number MS gave me before giving up for the time. Suppose I should start working on it again. I really only want the Sunrise Safari. I made the ADRs I cared about myself.
 
Thanks for the advice/encouragement. I'll try again, but since my email did not bounce back as undeliverable I am not sure.
As far as the sunrise safari--totally amazing and worth every penny. We enjoyed it so very much the last time we stayed CL.
