The crowds during the week (April 30th to May 7th) weren't bad, we got there at park opening and got on everything we wanted pretty quickly, for that trip we weren't onsite. The Sat that week was pretty busy, I bought the EPPs and it was worth it, especially since not every ride op was marking them, so we used them multiple times. We went between spring break and the end of school, so the crowds were basically managable. When we return this October, we are staying onsite (RPR) for the 1st time, for 3 of the 7 days we are there, I'm pretty stoked about that!
