I have tried to call to make reservations and the phone just rings and rings...

I guess I'm not in the "In" crowd that get's their posted questions answered  but that's OK...

FYI, I got a hold of them today finally. Turns out that they are still having phone problems from the hurricanes. The person whose house the phone line goes to lost their home in Charlie :( and they are now in a temporary home -- it took the phone company quite a while to connect the phone.

I think anyone that needs childcare services at WDW should give their business to these people -- don't let an unanswered phone discourage you!

Glad you got through. Thought about using them, but I'm still the psychotic overprotective mommy that is afraid to leave the girls with anyone yet. DH thinks I need to let them grow up.... LOL! Hope you have a great night out!!!

kldmom2000,

Thanks. I have read some great things about Fairy Gadmothers here in this forum -- that's why I kept trying rather than giving up and going with one of the other companies. Only you can determine what is best for your girls but I have no worries leaving our son with them! ::yes::

Wow, I just noticed... you really seem to like the YBC -- we do too! Stayed in the BC last time (way too many years ago) and this time it is the YC!! :bounce:

Yes-when I was a Cast member, I got the lovely CM discount on our honeymoon 10 yrs ago and got the honeymoon suite at the Beach Club. We were hooked after that. The sad thing now is we have to pay the regular price for the standard rooms!LOL! It's the ONLY place DH will stay. This is our first trip with the kids (2 girls ages 2 and 4). We were booked at the Yacht Club originally, but then there was a discount rate at that time only available at the Beach Club, so to me they're the same hotel-just different decor... :hyper: I can't wait to go!!! Would love to do a night out, but I just started up as a Creative Memories consultant and the first 2 shows I've had (yesterday and tonight) my DH had to put the girls to sleep w/o Mommy. Hoping they sleep tonight because last night they both kept waking up screaming for me..... ugh. That's why I'm nervous about leaving them just yet. I know I need to-I have to "cut the cord" LOL! Fairy Godmothers does sound the way to go from everything I have read on this board about them-esp. one named Vera! Let me know how you make out with them!!!! Have fun!!!!! :wave2:

we use fairy godmothers all the time! I'm so sorry to hear that one of them lost their home in Charley. It's been a tough few months for us Floridians.

Enjoy your night out!

Can you give me the number to call them? I am considering child care for one evening so my DH and I can go to PI to catch a comedy show or something. We don't get to spend much time together. He owns a business three hours away from us, the kids and I relocated to be near both of our families because I am in school and we needed help with the kids. Wierd I know but we work it out best we can. This is our first vacation together and his first time to WDW.

We were going to do the kids club in GF but our girls are 3 and 4 so the younger one can not go to it.

Thanks

The number I have for Fairy Godmothers is (407) 969-9847 and toll free 877-611-4314
