Anyone have photo's of new pool and sites??

Anyone out there have photo's of the new pool and sites...we are heading back for our fourth consecutive year to the Fort and we are dying to see the new stuff....Pretty soon we are gonna be buried in our typical Canadian winter and the photo's will keep us going!!

They have not started the new pool yet. They are working on the sites. Someone posted a pic. of them working on the sites on the regular camping board but i have not seen one of a completed site.

Thanks for the info...Ill have to keep looking for site pics...any idea when the pool, splash pad, and hot tubs are going to be completed??

It's going to be awhile before the pool is done. We're here at the Fort now, and they haven't even started yet.

But, now that you've found us -- stick around for awhile!

Rhonda thanks for the welcome...do you think they will have it up and running by March?? I know they are pretty quick about things there. This will be our 4th year in a row. Our friends have been going for over 25 years now and love it. We were hooked after our first visit....have you seen the new sites and if so are they much different than before?

There are some pictures of the work being done on the sites at FW, hope that helps you a little. No picture of the pool area because it's not started yet.

There are all sorts of pics around here,,just spend some time checking out past threads and enjoy yourself.
We use the camping board to get us thru from one camping trip to the next.

At this time (Sept 2nd), the 500, 1900 loops are closed for refurbishing/remodeling and I believe 1800 is closing this week. I read somewhere else that the pool remodeling isn't scheduled to begin until January. Welcome to the "Dark Side" of the Disney Camping Board!!

Thanks for all the welcoming words!! I have to agree with Frank...this board will definetly help getting through until our yearly visit in March....If we live closer than 5000km (2200mi?) we would certainly make more treks....looking forward to our 3 WEEKS March 09'

Whitby Ontario....Its a long trek to the Fort but worth every km...or mile. We are gonna try driving it straight thru this year....wish us luck...takes us about 22 hours....

I have also heard there is excitement building in the otter community. They can hardly wait for the new pool! Some are so excited they plan to be on the construction crew.

I figure its been a month or so since I was buggin for any photo's of the new sites and asking if the pool has been started...soooo....I checked out a few photo's posted showing the new sites under construction but does anyone have some new ones of the work completed....also any update on the pool situation?? Its startin to get chilly up in the great white north here so any FW news is good news for us....

Hope everyone is enjoyin FW...3 weeks comin up in March of 09'...can't wait!!

Here are pictures of our premium site in the 400 loop. To put it into perspective, the RV is 45'. As far as the pool goes, when we were there a couple weeks ago the pool looked the same as always. We're hoping that it's done by our spring break trip, though. If they do what I've heard is planned, it should be very nice.
