Anyone have opinions on the Trendsport Lite stroller ?

My DS will be 2.5 for our next trip to WDW. I've been doing some stroller research and it looks like the Trendsport Lite by Baby Trends has the features and $$ we are looking for. Any experience, good or bad, with this stroller ??

Yes!! This is the stroller we bought for our DD last year for WDW. She had just turned 3 and it worked out perfectly. It was very easy to get on and off buses and monorail and the basket underneath came in handy, the recline feature and canopy were great too. I think you will really like it!

My cousin had the trendlite for her little boy (now 3)... The stroller is lite weight, and doesn't cost much... It is missing the quality, made with flimsy plastic and has very little padding on the seat. But it is perfect for an older child that wont be spending most of the day in a stroller. And best of all... if it gets beat-up or goes missing while traveling... you wont be stressing over a stroller that you had to take a second mortgage on your home for

complete waste of money IMO
we bought it for first trip w/ dd when she was 2.5 and she was almost too big for it and she was only in the 25% for height and weight and it only had 2 recline positions-sitting or laying no in between

for the second trip we came across the babytrend eurosport which is as close to the Maclaren w/o the price tag it was only 49.00 at babies r us
we liked it because it has 4 position recline, bakset underneath, sun shade, folds up like an umbrella stroller, easy to steer, taller handles, holds up to 40 pounds
we liked it so much that we bought another one last summer for our son

rumor is that you can't find it anymore except for on ebay
If you have time and a babies r us locally I would go and check out their selection w/ your little one

I had it and gave mine away. The sunshade did not cover my baby at all! Maybe it would work better for an older, taller child, but my baby was getting fried and I ended up getting the Chicco Capri.

LOVE IT! We have 2 for the twins. Have used them in Disney, Sea World, Aruba, everywhere! The basket is great and it folds well. The only thing we had problems with was while gate checking once, the parent tray fell off and we lost it, but just throw them in your checked bags and it should be fine. A fantastic deal $$$, also.

(Meant: throw the parent tray in checked baggage, not the stroller! Also wanted to add that the twins are now almost 4, and they are getting a bit too heavy for the strollers, but we can still use them.
