I got my 2017 Insurance letter over the weekend, letting me know my insurance is going up another $125 a month starting in January.
I'm starting to look in to other ways to have medical coverage for upcoming 2017. I'm tired of paying so much money (more than a mortgage payment) for medical insurance and still having to pay high deductible and not even using it. Anyone have ACA compliant medical coverage? I'm looking at Medi-share type websites now. What have been your experiences with this type of coverage? Let me know the good, the bad & the ugly. Also, what do you get in the way of proof for your annual tax return? Is it the same form my insurance company sends me/IRS proof of months I was covered? Have you run in to any problems with the IRS as far as coverage not being from the traditional insurance companies.
Let me know any info you have. Thanks
