Anyone have luck with air deviation request?

I shared yesterday that I had found rooms/tickets for our land stay at almost 3k less than the land package offered by the cruise line for our holiday cruise. We're going to ask for an air deviation to keep our air travel through DCL. Anyone had any luck with this.

I'm seriously considering booking my own air travel after seeing how much we saved...but the air travel price really isn't out of line for that time period.

So what's your experience with AIR DEVIATION for an early arrival!
