Anyone have good fireworks game tips?

I did a search, but can't find anything. Does anyone have some good tips for the fireworks game? I'm just not good at it. I can't ever get to the 75,000 points I need to get my driver's pin!

The biggest thing is learning the timing of each different kind of firework (you are scored on timing not aim in this game). You want to click them just as the little star pops up in the middle of the firework and starts to turn. I like to keep my pointer around the edge of the firework so i can see this (you still want to pointer to touch the firework though). So for example the red planet shaped fireworks disappear much faster than the pink mickey ear fireworks, so you must be patient with the longer fireworks and wait for that star to show up instead of just trying to hit every firework as fast as you can. This made a HUGE difference in my game play and I can now get 240,000+ points every game without much effort.

Julesoola is comepletely right but I just wanted to add something important that I learned when starting the quests (I never cared that I wasn't getting decent scores before)...

Quality is more important than quantity.

Julesoola's tips should help you get better quality. Previously, I figured if I hit them at all, it was worth nearly as much as Flawless so I was more interested in getting them ALL than getting them WELL. Boy, was I wrong!

When I first started what help me learn the shapes (and their order) was numbering them in my head.. blue was 1, sun wan 2 purple mickey ears 3 and so on...

Also most firework changes are 1 or 2 away from each other, and the patterns are offen set up so the fastest way to the next color is two to the right (so if you are clicking 4 or 5 times to get to the right one, you should have gone the other way and just clicked twice, does that make sense?)... but most are 1 away in the lower levels.

Oh and hitting the wrong firework is still better than missing it, if your freaked.
