We are flying on an 777-200. We changed to economy plus- row 19 was still available. It is 3 rows back from the bulk head where, I think? They could put a bassinet. I can not see the seat configuration on seat guru. The agent today said the seats configurations are 2 side, then middle threes seats, then 2 more side seats. Is this correct?
Prior we were in economy and we were told it sat 2, 5, 2. We are flight 8 hours then connecting. I figured it would be a much more pleasant flight for DH.
Any Knowledge? Thanks.

Your TA is incorrect. I looked on seat guru and the 777-200 has 5 configurations. In all cases if there are 2 seats on the outside there are 5 seats in the middle for all of economy even economy+. Which makes sense. No way will United remove 2 seats per row.

Otherwise the seats are 3-3-3 (left-middle-right). All seats are 18 inches wide with 34 inches of seat pitch (econ+).

You will be much more comfortable in E+; that was a worthwhile expense.

UA has a number of different configurations for the 777-200; however, looking at seatguru, the only planes with a 2-3-2 configuration don't have a row 19 three rows from the bulkhead, so not sure which is yours.

You can look up your plane by flight number on seatguru; did you try that?

Here are United plane specifications for the 777-200:

.

No, Version 1 and Version 2 have a 2-3-2 configuration.

Make sure you bring food. United (And all other US carriers on that and similar routes) does not serve complimentary food.

I forgot to add that if you look at your reservation on UA's website, you can pull up a seat map for your flight as well and take a look at your seats.

Good answer! I've been flying United every 6 weeks for about 18 months and forgot this.

Thanks for the replies. It was united themselves that stated my flight would sit 2, 3, 2 For E+. On seat guru no offering showed that offering. And none show a row 19 3 rows behind the bulk head.
Hmmmmmmm.

I think DH dream is first class, when we booked it was $15000 more! It is only available now if you upgrade with flier miles. At the airport he is going to ask if available and see if the price has come down a few few few thousands

Well for the seats guess I'll see when I get there.
