Anyone have any idea about what the "big announcements" will be later this week?

So I got an email saying there will be a big announcement from Disney cruiseline on Wednesday, BUT it also said to check back on Friday morning for "more news from Disney."

Not so much concerned about the cruise as much as I am desperately waiting for an AP rate to come out for the end of June!

I saw on the podcast board that DCL will begin sailings out of Galvaston, TX in 2012. I'm thinking that is probably the news.

On the free dining watch thread, there are people saying that CM's at
the WDTC have been offered overtime for Friday. I don't know if that is
true or not, but it seems like there should be more to this friday announcement if that is the case. I wouldn't think they would need additional staffing for the Shanghi announcement!

All I can think is that they made these decisions long before it became clear that Hong Kong wasn't the success they thought it would be.

I am still holding on to the (ever faint) hope that DCL will cruise out of NY or NJ....

I have hopes that it will be AP summer discounts I was on the phone with a CM (on the AP line) adding a day to my res, and asked if she has heard anything about the next AP discounts for summer. She told me to keep watching the next 2 weeks. So maybe?
