Anyone have any experience renting cars with Kayak?

I was checking Katak and the price that they are offering is great but I concerned about what rental car company I will get.

I like to know who I will be renting from. Last time I rented I went with Thrifty and waited a long time on their line since I was unable to sign up for their club. I like Alamo.
