Could you please check rates for me for next month on line?
I am looking for any value, moderate, or wilderness cabin for April 24th-April30th.
We have a party of 6...need two rooms each night except at the cabins.
I am debating about buying an annual pass...
Thanks so much!!

Sure, I was just on the passholder site anyway.

There is a cabin at FW available, total is $1310. ($209 plus tax weekends, $189 weekdays) The only other thing available is a studio at SS or OKW, both priced at $1242. HTH!

oh my gosh...you are awesome!!!
I am so excited!! Thank you...thank you...
I have a $500 gift card deal..but that really isn't a deal...
wow...any other suggestions for me?
have you ever stayed at the cabins? I have not...kind of
nervous...I am a city girl!

The Wilderness Cabins are $1310.00 for your dates.

Anything else is bumping to Old Key West or Saratoga Springs (yes, I made the party size smaller. ;)) Stating no availability at that time.

LOL!! I was posting and minimizing, I didn't see you already got your answer!! Good luck with your decision!

Actually, I have stayed in the cabins. I like them alot. There is a full kitchen, complete with dishes, pots/pans, utensils.. pretty much anything you might need. There is a deck with a picnic table and grill. Have you ever been to Fort Wilderness? It is just beautiful. The boat to MK is huge plus. The bus transportation can be a bit of a pain, though. If you have a car, you'll be fine but if not, I'd recommend renting a golf cart to help you get around FW. (It is huge)

Actually, I just checked disneyworld.com, and they have a discount for the cabins that does not require an annual pass. The total for your dates is $1411, so a little higher than the AP rate, but again, you wouldn't have to buy an AP. The code for the discount is RYD. Good luck! :flower3:

oh..that would be awesome...
I have not ever been to fort wilderness...I will get a golf cart then..
I was afraid that it was huge and going to be hard to manage.
So do you park the cart close to the bus pickup so I can get to the parks...and then at the end of day...just drive it back to our cabin?
I guess I do not understand how to get to each park each day.
I do still get the extra hours correct?
I was shocked that the gift card promo was not a deal at all.
Thanks again!!

IMO, 6 in a cabin can be pretty tight unless your talking about 2A and 4 (smaller) kids. Cabins are nice-- they have a pull out murphy bed in the living room area, a separate bedroom with a queen/double bed and a set of bunk beds. They have only 1 bathroom. Since you asked about 2 studios I wondered about the number of adults and children and if a cabin layout would really work for you.

We have 3 adults and 3 teenagers...the girls are tiny and one full young man teenager!!
I just am nervous about staying at the cabin in general too.

Yup, you get all the benefits of being on-property: extra magic hours, Magical Express, charging to your room, etc. If you rent a golf cart, you can park at your cabin, then drive it to the boat dock if you are going to MK, or to the bus stop to catch a bus to Epcot, Studios or AK. (or anywhere else on property) Then when you return from the park, your cart will be there to drive back to your cabin. Having a cart makes getting around very easy, but if you don't get one, there are internal buses that go around the loops to take you places within FW. The golf carts are a lot easier and much more fun!

If you need tickets for everyone price out the Buy 4 Get 3 Free offer on-line. It is showing availability at the Cabins for your dates. When the resort offers come up select Saratoga or Old Key West first to be sure the offer shows up then edit and change your resort selection to the Cabins--showing availability for your dates total of $2824.02 with 7 day magic your way base tickets for all 6 of you.

We stayed in the cabins 4 yrs ago. I personally do not like the whole atmosphere because like you I am a city girl. Family loved it....dh 2 teenage ds ds 8 and ds6 (ages at time). The golf carts were about $45. day when we were there, you can take the bus from a bus stop to the main bus place and go from there to the parks. We have stayed at POP for the last 3 yrs and staying again this year.....also not Diseny enough for me and not enough people around for me.....I am a people person I like all the action going on. That's just from 1 city girl to another.....:confused3
