I'm thinking about getting one of these to make healthier pops and using some fun ingredients.

Would love to know your opinions. They say it needs sweetner, but I think since I would use fruit or occasional brown rice syrup or maple syrup or something like that it would be ok.

I want to make ones like banana peanut butter (I make soft serve ice cream and smoothies with just those two ingredients) and maybe try my hand at coconut ice pops and other fruity conconctions.

My other option is just to get the plastic mold kind. I saw one that was BPA free.

Thanks in advance!!

We got one for Christmas last year and we like it. We use any type of juice and yogurt and have done Ginger Ale, lemonade, and Gatorade. Those were perfect when the kids didn't feel well. They wouldn't drink much but were happy for popsicles. We did do orange juice with ice cream and they were really good. The fanciest I've made were vanilla yogurt layered with sliced strawberries and granola. We've made up to 9 in one freeze.

Thanks everyone. I may go get one tomorrow.

I was reading a magazine at the kids dentist yesterday. And there was a section with reviews in it. For what its worth. the Zouku one was rated very highly. All the reviwes were posetive!

Thanks that is very helpful. Also the online reviews were mostly positive. There were a few negative ones, but sometimes it was just someone who was complaining about something that the pop maker never said it could do.

curious...what did they want it to do?
