Anyone have a pic of the ring in front of the Haunted Mansion?

I have seen it in person and I thought it looked like a pipe cut off. What bride would wear that ring?

Maybe that's why she committed suicide...because the groom didn't get her a better ring.

I've always wondered about finding that ring too, but I gotta say, that pic looks like no ring to me and you don't have to be a jeweler to know that. Seeing is believing, or in this case, seeing is disbelieving.

It is, but I guess we can let those that like to think it's part of the story enjoy it.

Just FYI everyone, that "ring" is no ring. It's a former gate that stood and was remove and the pipe was simply cut at asphalt level. However, Im sure the Imagineers would LOVE to take credit for that being their idea. If they would have thought about it, Im sure they would have put it there as a ring.

Holy cow was I far off!!! After seeing those detailed instructions I'm realizing just how far off I was. I was looking for it way past the covered exit but just before the entrance gate.

Can't wait to see it in person and bring my years of pining to an end.

The ring is alot smaller than you would think, you have to look carefully to find it.

interesting.. the ring looks to be dug out a lot more than when i last saw it a few years ago. it was pretty flush inside & out with th esurface,, not a hole in the middle..
guess someone has been 'naughty'


btw, in the WDW spirit ,, it;s a RING,,,,,,,, it was petrified & turned to stone when it hit the ground,, never to be worn again as an engagement ring!

(besides IF the wdw imagineers JUST stuck a ring in the cement,, it would have been LONG GONE,,,,,, see they had to stick it to the end of an embedded pipe so no one could dig it up!)
(actually one OLD rumor floating around was they actually did have a ring that was stolen,,,,,,,,,, ahh but you know rumors)


(also strange some CM do not know about the ring, ,,,, while others are quite prolific in their stories)
