Anyone have a LEAST favorite park?

We ran into this situation this year because we are doing other things in Florida and limiting our time at WDW. MGM used to be my favorite but it feels like it's lacking nowadays so that one was omitted right away. Next came Animal Kingdom, even though I like it, it just doesn't come close to the other two IMO.

Agree about the carnival at AK, but we love Primeval Whirl, the Boneyard, Pocohontas and her Forest Friends, Flights of Wonder, the Safari, the nature walks (which are great and oft overlooked), and Rafiki's Planet Watch. That's a full day, especially with the early close. Plus, we can just stare at the Tree of Life from every angle

My husband and I least like AK. On future trips we'll go there for Indiana Jones, and It's Tough to be A Bug, but that's all.

In all fairness, we did everything AK has to offer on our last trip. So I can fairly say that AK is our least favorite park.

4. AK
3. MGM
2. Epcot
1. MK

Another vote for Animal Kingdom!! Didn't even go in January, and won't go next month when we return again.:jumping1:

Gotta buck the trend here, and say that Epcot just doesn't work for me. The Magic Kingdom is my spiritual home, and I enormously enjoy both AK and Disney/MGM, but my best friend and I found on our last trip that our pattern of indifferent experiences at Epcot wasn't after all to do with the weather, or our moods, or when in our trip we had gone there, as we had thought in the past -- nope, there's just something lacking at Epcot for us. To me, it simply doesn't have the magic of the others, and the distances between attractions gets wearing. I would go for a half day to see something specific there, but I don't need to spend a full day there again.

Just one woman's opinion.

Mgm is my least favorite, I find we can be out of there in 3 hrs on a slow day. There is not much to do if you don't do TOT or RnR.

DW and I are not that excited about EPCOT. Our last trip we went for about 2 hours one evening. We will probably go this summer though so I can try M:S.

This brings up one of the things I find most interesting about our trips to WDW....what we enjoy the most changes EVERY trip!! I think that's why we can go so often and still love every trip like it's our first time.

If I answered your question after our first family trip, I would have said our least favorite park was Animal Kingdom. Now Animal Kingdom is our second favorite park. MGM has slipped to our least favorite park. There's just not enough at MGM to give us a good touring plan. Either we go there for the big rides w/o our young kids (although they're getting big enough) but then that's all we do...or we go with our kids and then all we have is MuppetVision, Little Mermaid and Playhouse disney (the last 2 we've almost outgrown). Of course, we do love Fantasmic.

The only constant is our love of Magic Kingdom. We love Splash and Thunder and WDW just isn't the same without a trip through Fantasyland.

Epcot could burn to the ground (with no people inside, of course!) and I would be ok with it! In fact, I'd be glad to not be dragged around what I affectionately call "Bore-cot". I hated the place when I was 11, and still hated it at 26, 27, and 28. Maybe 29 will be my magic number???

Have to say that I really don't like MGM other than TOT and RRC, the park seems small and the shows kinda lame, I am also not that crazy about AK, think it could improve on the animals, once you have seen Tarzan Rocks and The Lion King show that is about it. I have a hard time thinking that the entire animal kingdom just revolves around the animals from Africa and Asia, these are animals that anyone can see in any city zoo anywhere. I believe that there are many people who live in large cities or other countries that would love to see animals such as moose, elk, pronghorns etc. I think it could have been divided into the continents and had animals from each, I know these animals are not endangered but for many it would still be a thrill to see a moose up close! As much as I love Disney AK does not even come close to Busch Gardens in the rides or the animal dept! And BG in Tampa has alot less area!

keiki, binky&mouse the 3 best white kitties in the world!

I would have to say AK. I like AK but it's not someplace I could spend a lot of time at. We usually do the park in about 4 or 5 hours.

If I was forced to skip a park during a visit, it would have to be AK. I feel it is just ok and my DH really does not like it. However, that being said.... on our next visit in November 2004, my DH and I agreed to really give AK a chance this time. We intend to enjoy the small thing the park has to offer along with the shows. Hopefully our feeling will be different after the next trip.

This thread makes me kindof sad :( because animal kingdom is my FAVORITE park. I'd skip any other park over the animal kingdom. I'd probably say epcot is one of my least favorites, but I still love it.

tricia.

Its only natural to have a favorite and least favorite park. Animal Kingdom continues to be my least favorite. However, I couldn't see myself going to WDW without a stop there. If I knew I couldn't do a park, I would skip the visit entirely.

Epcot for me too.
I liked it a whole lot more when the entire park opened at the same time. And a lot of my favorite attractions (Horizons, World of Motion) are gone too.

MGM. TOT & RNRR don't interest me (my DW loves them, though).
Fantasmic is a poor substitute for the great fireworks show they used to have. The original sound show was fun, Superstar T.V. was always a hoot, & they got rid of the outstanding Hunchback live show! There seems to be less reason to visit this park each time we go to WDW. Love the other 3 parks & the waterparks!

Don't have a least fav. park, but if I HAD to skip one, it would be AK. My kids are just not thrilled with it. It is a newer park, and it's kindof unfinished, but gets better everytime we go.
My fav is Epcot, the kids and DH love it too. We also love MK and MGM. AK is the only park we spend just one day at.
Can't wait to go in Aug.............:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:
