As much as I love WDW, I have to admit that I don't love all parks equally. I'm not a big fan of Animal Kingdom. As a matter of fact, we're not even going there on our next trip.

Anyone else have a park they just don't like as much as the others?

Yep, definately. Although I've never ridden Kali River Rapids or Dinosaur and Expedition Everest is on the way, I don't think I'm going to be visiting Animal Kingdom soon. It's like a zoo to me. I don't mean to start something but Animal Kingdom is the last park I would go to!

Funny - I like AK - I never considered it a "least" favorite - but on short trips - it's the one I skip.....

Not a Park, really - but I'm not a Downtown Disney fan....

This is an interesting thread. Animal Kingdom is my second favorite park, after Epcot. But take away MGM? Fine with me! The only reasons I ever go to MGM is occassionally to see Streetmosphere characters, and at Christmas to see the Osborne Lights. None of the attractions there-TOT, RnR, even Fantasmic,etc.-interest me.

I agree that MGM would be on the skip list if it were up to me. I don't like thrill rides so RnR and ToT are out for me and I pretty much reach my limit with 1-2 shows, so I find there isn't much for me to do at MGM and usually try to convince my companions to do a 1/2 day at MGM and a 1/2 day at AK so that we can maximize our time at MK and the water parks. Only thing at MGM I'd really like to do is see Fantasmic and on each of the three occasions I've been there it's been sunny all day and the weather turned just in time for them to cancel Fantasmic.

Epcot. I think it is starting to show it's age. Innoventions is nothing like it was when it first opened, Sea cabs gone from LS, WoL; seasonal, and the countries are a little boring after all of these years.

Animal Kingdom is my least favorite - But I also have to say that i really like Animak Kingdom - it's just that if I had to rank them, AK would be last.

I would throw a fit if I had to skip any of the parks.

I enjoy different parks based on different moods, and there's no way my experience would be complete if I missed out on any of it.

AK is our least favorite, but we are finding that we like it more each time. We have twice skipped it on short trips. I wouldn't dream of skipping the other three, though, which I like more or less equally. I have a really hard time choosing favorite.

Like Leota, I'm not particularly into Downtown Disney. We usually go once in a week-long trip. I also can take or leave the waterparks.

AK is absolutely my least favorite. The only reason we're going this time is because we have lots of newbies coming with us, and even so, we're only going for a half day. I don't think the park was designed very well. Narrow pathways and such make it hard to navigate a stroller, or wheelchair or anything like that, lines that wrap around out into the pathways cause major problems when it's busy (and when it's not, for that matter)....Overall, we skip this park every time we go.

I really hate MGM. I LOVE Fantasmic, but I hate the park itself.
On the other hand I love Animal Kingdom. Some of the stuff is kind of lame (Rafikki's Planet Watch...) but I really enjoy a lot of the stuff. But I can't compare it to a zoo, since I've never been to one.

Definitely Animal Kingdom

We went this year because we wanted to ride Kali River Rapids (we've done most everything else) and were sorely disappointed in the ride. My kids hate ITTBAB and I despise Dinosaur (if I wanted whiplash I'd slam on brakes on I-4).

We've vowed to skip it on our next trip...but I'm curious as to the big coaster they're building back by Kali River Rapids...

I suppose it depends on my mood. Sometimes I don't feel like going to MK just because I know its always going to be the most crowded. I love (and I suppose dislike) each one for different reasons.

Not a full park, but I'm just not a Future World fan. Mission: SPACE is great and Test Track and Imagination is fun too, but the rest of it doesn't do much for me. I like World Showcase a lot though.

I was going to say Animal Kingdom, but I'm kind of changing my mind and I think I'm going to say MGM. I 'm still trying to decide if it will be worth it to go there next week. I do love Star Tours. But I hear that the Animation ride isn't good anymore. It was great when we were there in 1999. And the film before it? that was great, but I heard that that film isn't shown anymore. So I might not waste my time there. Since I only visited AK once, I think I'll give it another try. I did like the Safari ride, ITTBAB, The Tree of Life and I loved Kali river Rapids. But I hated, just HATED, Dinosaur. The whiplash comment was very accurate!

Love them all and can't wait until they open a fifth park at WDW.Some day they will I hope anyway.::yes:: :wave2:

AK is definitely our least favorite, way below the rest and very skippable. I agree that it is very poor design with narrow walkways and no shortcuts, which is silly considering how much walking you have to do to get to each area. Plus the whole "carnival" area really, really degrades the park. Having to pay cash to play those games... ugh! We love the shows and safari though.

AK is my least favorite.ChuckGA said it very well as that's how I feel about it too!

What's funny though is AKL is my FAVORITE place to stay!!!

I don't really care for AK - but I still can't make myself "skip" it. I liked Dinosaur and the Safari. I think it is really below the standard of the other three parks.

We like AK just fine. As for least favorite, that would be MGM. When we make the circuit, it's a split hopping day between MGM and Epcot with another full day at EPCOT. That half day is Muppet Vision 3-D (at least twice if slow), then dinner and Fantasmic. Maybe a bit of the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground
