Anyone had reflexology at the spa?

We came back from our 1st cruise on the Febr 27 Wonder and had a great time. I had the reflexology done on my feet at the spa, which was extremely relaxing(I love my feet messed with - pedicures, massages, etc). The way I understand it, is that all your major organs are connected somehow in the glands of your feet, so the reflexologist can work on headaches, backaches, etc. She told me, which I found a bit disconcerting, that I had a blockage or mass, and that I should get it checked out. Anyone else have this strange type of diagnosis? An interesting session to be sure.

I had it done on the Wonder by a MARVELOUS South African gal - will definitely have it done again. I don't know how accurate any diagnosis comments would be, but it wouldn't hurt to check it out!!

I have had reflexology too, both on the ship and at home. Although I have not been told a diagnosis like that, they reflexologists have mentioned problems that I know I have but that I had not mentioned. It always amazes me when they can do that...there must be something to it!

Barb - my feet felt wonderful for a long time after the treatment. I also had the metabolic test done, and learned a lot from that!! I don't know what I want to start with first, but I sure can't wait for one of their treatments. Mom wants to live in the Rainforest during the trip - I hope I can at least get her off the boat once in a while!!!

I thought I had just decided on my spa treatment and then you go and write about reflexology - this sounds great I wonder if I can up the ante on my budget so that I can spend more in the spa

Consider your cruise a "once in a lifetime" adventure and treat yourself royally! You can omit a dinner or two out til your cruise and put the money aside - or save your change or even a buck a day.

I figure life is too short and we don't know the day or the hour when we will pass on, so what the heck - live it up!!!! Just make sure you have the money ahead of time and don't go into debt because that will cause stress and we all know that stress will shorten your life!!!
