Anyone had experience with pricey SureSmile braces?

I may cancel my DD13's appointment tomorrow with an ortho here. We had a consult with him last week, and her 26 months of ortho care is $6800 which seems really high. This is partly due to the fact that he will be using SureSmile braces on her. Most braces around here run $4500-$5000. Just wondered. Think I may cancel until I can think this through, but if anyone has any experience, I'd appreciate any feedback.
