Any one going/or already been to the west coast "what will you celebrate tour" events? I know they are going to be in Sacramento today at the Arden Fair mall, which is the closest one to me, but I am working :coffee:.

If anyone has gone to any of the others or goes to this one I would love to hear about what they did- just give away balloons? Where characters there? Did you think it was cute?

I wanted to go to the one here in vancouver, but they didnt have any information on where or what time.... i was very disapointed

They have pictures and videos up on the "WWYC?T" website (just look for the Tour Gallery). I think it depends on the city, but for the most part it looks like they pass out balloons and there's Mickey in person. My mom and I are going on Thursday to the one in SF and I'm looking forward to the sprinkle of pixie dust in everyday life.

Hey Disny4ever and everyone else,

I went to Arden Fair mall in Sac right at 10:00 and they had a WWYC? van with the Disney logos, pictures pasted all over it and a huge Mickey baloon on top of the vehicle. My DS got a huge kick out of it.

They had about 10 people walking around the mall wearing red wind breakers and carrying around 30 baloons attached to a gold envelope. Inside the envelope was an invitation to register as well as information on winning a sweepstakes. They also had a kiosk set up with computers to encourage people to register and a lot of CM(about 15) just milling around the small crowd. They were all very friendly and approached my son or smiled and told me to have a magical day. It was nice to have a little piece of Disney so close to home.

Radio Disney was also there with contest give aways and lots of free prizes. They were passing out goodie bags to all the children but they didn't have anything too enticing.

Overall, it was nice but I don't think you missed out on much. They should have had this event in the evening or on the weekend as it seemed as if it was just stay at home moms with children under the age of 5.

Of course it brought a lot of people into the Disney store upstairs where I was disappointed to find very little or no apparel for men and women. There were a lot of items for kids but the sales weren't that great. We are leaving for Disneyworld next week :cool1: so it was nice to get that preview today!

Thank you for the report. My closest location is S.f. As much as I love visiting the city, I wonder if doing so mainly for this tour, will be worth the trip?

Thanks for the info Brancaneve, yeah I was a little disappointed that it was smack in the middle of the work day, but it sounds like it was cute for people that could get over there.

And have a wonderful time in Disney World! We just got back from a trip in December and I miss it already- I am sure this will be a great time to be there- have fun.
