Our theater has one at 11:59pm.

I don't think it would be as crowded as a Star Wars. I think tomorrow evening would be more crowded.

My dd-16 and her friends are going. It is the only time, I let her go past her curfew of midnight. She didn't see the first one, I wonder if you need to.

I would love to be able to go. DD is out of town with GM and GP. But we will probably go Wednesday.

We're going. We just finished watching the original again for fun. I think we'll be heading to the theater w/in an hour or so.

I believe the three largest theaters in our complex will be showing it. As of Monday night, one was definitely sold out. So not sure how many to expect

Do you think it'll be crowded?

I have a feeling that it will be rather crowded at ours. We were thinking of going at 11 to get in line... now I am rethinking and might want to go much earlier than that.

If we are wrong, at least we can hang out and talk for a while. Our theaters are large, so to have sell outs out of those is a pretty HUGE thing.

I do think with all the HS out of school at the moment, that it will be rather crowded and mostly filled with teens.

we just got back from buying tickets. They opened a second screen because the first one sold out!!

Oh Geez, I hope not!!

We are going to leave at 11 (it's only a 6 minute drive).

I wanted to...but my kids want to go...so now it is going to be Sat AM for me...and I love the Orlando  pirate:

At our theater people had tents out this afternoon and were camping in line for the midnight showing (tickets were sold out, they were just wanting to secure their choice of seats). When we got there to buy our tickets for tomorrow night a bunch of them held up signs saying "sold out" and were chanting "we got the tickets, you can't go" etc. Made my 3yo cry. All he asked for, for his 4th bday (next week) was to see that movie. He thought they were telling him no.

Anyways dh and I and some friends are going to the 8:10 showing tomorrow night. We'll preview it and see if ds can get his bday wish. He's seen the first one tons of times, and was even Jack Sparrow last Halloween (and wants to be Davy Jones this one). We already ordered him the Jack Sparrow bday cake and bought all the POTC bday goodies so hopefully this movie won't be to scary for him. I don't think it will be. He saw the trailer featuring the Kraken and asked if he could get a Pet Kraken. :)

I'm jealous you'll see it tonight. Have fun!! And don't spoil the ending for those of going tomorrow!!

The theater that I'm going to has it on four screens. When I went to pick up tickets in advance at 3:00 this afternoon, TWO of the shows were already sold out!! I'm glad I went early to pick up tickets! I'm also planning on seeing it tomorrow afternoon, before I have to go to work. I know that may sound crazy  , but I know I was a Pirate in a former life! pirate: , so I just have to see it more than once! It's a Pirate thing!

DD17 and a big group of her friends are upstairs right now, dressing as pirates. DD has on a black knee-high skirt with a lace ruffle, a black and white striped short sleeved blouse, long curly hair with a red and black bandanna, and knee high black leather boots. She looks adorable!!! Her friends (guys too) are rummaging around in the attic to see what we have. They'll leave for the theater in about 30 minutes.

Looks like they sold out 2 of the four midnight showings tonight at our theater so far--there's no way I could stay awake that late, POTC or not! But I'm looking forward to seeing it next week. :)

DD 21 and a large group of her college friends had a party tonight at our house, they dressed up as pirates, they watched Muppet Treasure Island, then POTC (1st one), and now they've left to go to the theater. They bought their tickets in advance, and it's a good thing! DS, almost 17, works there, got off at 7 and said they've already sold out all 5 theaters for tonight.

I'm planning on taking my younger girls (11 and 13) to the drive-in next week. They are showing it, and on Tuesday they have family night, so we'll try that.

I LOVE Johnny Depp, but I have to admit I'm not looking forward to this one as I did the first. In general I don't like sequels. But I'll give it a chance.
