We will be there too! Jan 17-31. Universal for 2 nights, Pop for 5 nights, CBR for 7 nights.

We'll be there! We'll be at Pop the 24th -30th. My parents will be coming with us this year, so we've got a little Grand Gathering going!

Just an FYI in case you haven't heard, you can do your ADR's now. They opened it up because the new system won't be up and running until the end of November. Yesterday I was able to get all our reservations for the week!

I'm looking at planning a trip that week 1/27-02/01.....I'm wondering if you've heard about how crowded it will be? We were there in 2006 during this same week and it was perfect. The only thing we had to wait in line for was Expedition Everest. I'm expecting it to be the same this time but wanted to make sure there wasn't any big planned events that would draw crowds this week - like a cheerleader competition or the marathon or anything?

The Super Bowl is 2/1 in Tampa, only an hour away from WDW. Also, the Disney Soccer Classic tournament is taking place at the WWoS on 1/30- 2/2. Don't know what effect either of these will have on park crowd levels. I'd expect that they won't add huge crowds, but you never know.

I also read on another post that there's a dance competition that week but that those don't usually affect the crowds in the parks. Maybe we should shoot for the week before?

My husband's birthday is the 28th and I know Disney is running a special for free admission into parks on birthday's in 2009 but I'd rather pay for a park ticket and have the smallest crowds possible! Although I think I also read that you can get a fast pass on birthdays if you paid for a park ticket. I think I need to research that

We will be there Jan 28 thru Feb 3!!!!! The 29th is my birthday!! So far we are thinking of getting the fastpasses.
