Anyone going soon, can you do me a favor?

My son and I are avid VMK players. VMK = Virtual Magic Kingdom. It's a free online game offered by Disney. You create a character and explore a virtual Disney kingdom. Check it out online or check out the VMK forum on Dis for more info.

Anyway, with the opening of the new Monster's Inc ride, they are giving away cards as you leave the ride. The card has a code for golden Monsters Inc teleporters that you can use in the game. They did not yet have the cards when we were there a few weeks ago, and at this point I'm not sure when we will get back to DL. But these special teleporters are only available at the park.

If anyone is going to DL soon, would you be willing to pick up a couple of cards for my son and myself? Then either mail me the card (I'll pm you my address) and I can reimburse the postage. Or even easier, just email me the codes from the card? The codes can only be used once, so that's why I would need a couple of codes.

Thanks to anyone who could help. Also, if you play the game yourself and would like to negotiate a trade, I'd be willing to work something out that way as well.

If you go to the Monsters Inc. page on disneyland.com, a pop up comes up where you can play a game to win a code. My son did this and now has the transport door.

Yes, we won the pink doors playing the game. But it's the gold doors that you only get at DCA that I'm hoping someone can find for me.

Do you have any idea how long they will be giving the cards out? My daughter and her best friend love VMK. My husband and I were in WDW alone last Dec. and we did the quest in the park for her and her friend. We actually had fun. They would love these cards. We will be at DLR the third week of Feb., do you think they will still be giving them out? If they are, I only need two and five of us will be going. I would be happy to e-mail you the codes.

All we can find out is that they will give them out as long as supplies last. But no one knows how many they have. Also, it depends on whether or not they keep giving them to everyone in line, or just those that ask for it. They just started about a week ago, so hopefully they'll still be around in Feb.

planning on going this weekend...maybe. do they just pass out those cards right at the door? after the ride? one per person, adult & children?

It depends on the CM. Some just hand them to all guests, others will only hand them out if you ask. I've also heard that if you ask for a few extra, they will give you some. Again, up to the CM. But you get them as you enter the line.
