Anyone go to Michael's today and use their 50% coupon?

Now that we have a Michael's so close I get there at least once a week.

Today I had ds with me and first we went to ACMoore to use their coupon. Sad, as there wasn't anything I "needed" so ds used it on fabric transfer sheets.

Then over to Michael's - what a difference between stores! I know that our Michael's is new, but it just seems to be a much nicer store - and I am a big ACM fan!

We ended up buying one of those 5' Halloween talking witches - kids & I have talked about getting something like that for years. She was already on sale so couldn't use the coupon. I found portfolios for both kids for their art projects but those were also on sale. We ended up using the coupon on a $4.00 animal figurine! Ha! Anything else would have been a want instead of a need and I am TRYING to stop buying so many things as I have enough to keep me busy here....considering ds & I were also at Michael's yesterday...

I used it at Jo's. All I needed was a glue pen. We did, however, go to all 3 on Saturday trying to find shirts to make for pirate night on the cruise

I did, but not on scrapping stuff. I'm taking another cake decorating class so I got gum paste at 50% off and at check-out got another 50% coupon good 9/12-9/18!

I used to be a big ACM fan, then they started to go down the tubes. When Michael's opened up across the parking lot from them, I hoped they'd step up their game. No such luck. Now I hardly ever go into ACM, and I love my Mike's.

I tried to use the Mike's coupon today, but everything I wanted was already on sale or clearance. The clearance section was amazing!

Got me an IRock yesterday with a printable coupon & the I Rock Multi Jewels today with the newspaper one. Yes, I double dipped

I'm going back tomorrow with a 40% one. When glittery Princess stickers no longer cost $7.99 I'll think about feeling guilty. Until then, it's game on

I can't find the iRock in any of the stores near me ... I look every time I go into ACM and M's. I keep hearing wonderful things about them.

I went to 2 M's to try and find something to use my 50% off coupon. The first one, is across the street from Archiver's so their clearance is never any good. The 2nd always has good clearance, and this time was no different. I got about $80 worth of stuff for $35.

For a change I got good use out of my 50% off coupons -- a storage thing with three 13 1/2 inch drawers that is helpful with my reorganizing my crafting space project at ACM, and a 360 page pack of "Best of K &Company" paper (with pretty, useful papers in it) at M's. So often I end up using coupons just for tape or glue, or other little stuff anymore (now that I'm invested in Cricut, which takes the place of a lot of other things [stickers, embellishments, borders, etc].).

I did not get to use mine...we found a lump on Bailey dog so the purse strings are tight until we figure out what it is. Say a prayer that my "first baby" is okay!

Please let us know how Bailey is. We had 3 Goldens before our boys and have 2 Golden girls now. Our first golden girl, Sierra, was prone to getting these benign growths. It always scared me, but they were always harmless. She was my healthiest of the 1st 3, never had a problem until it was her time. So hang in there & I'll keep Bailey in my thoughts and prayers. I know exactly what you are going through. Our dogs are our family to us too!

I have been wanting a cuttlebug so I broke down and used the 50% on it. Got it for $39.99 after discount taken off. I have a cricut and wanted it for the embossing folders. It just adds that little extra cuteness

just as a side note: When I went to pay the manager was working the registar and she said "you can't use coupons on cricut product" (not hello or anything) so I said " cuttlebug is a provocraft product not cricut" she said "well I'll try" and it did take off the discount so don't let them tell you you can't use it on cuttlebug

Thank you! He is my baby...he can even say, "Mom." Which he does often. lol I hope to get him into the vet in the next couple of days.
