I was out with my mom, though not specifically to hit any sales. We go shopping and out to lunch one day every weekend. None of the places we were at were very crowded at all, though. I've never seen so few people out on Black Friday. I know stores have tried to make it so it wouldn't be crowded with the covid restrictions, I just expected tons of people to be out regardless.

Several years back, I went to the mall on Black Friday and spent an hour and a half trying to get out of the parking lot.
Never did that again.

The closest I got was buying some stuff online and doing curbside pickup of groceries. I don't do black Friday normal years I'm sure as heck not doing it the day after a large number of people became infected and don't yet know it.

Not really, I did pick up an online order on my way home from work though. The stores weren’t too busy 6pm which was nice.

We went to Kohl's, Walmart, Ulta and Costco.
All stores were counting guests entering and exiting.
No where even close to the usual huge Black Friday crowd levels....more like a normal Saturday crowd.

I never shop on Black Friday but traffic was heavy and parking lots were full.

I went to three places all with capacity caps of about 25. There were socially distanced lines outside some. It was as orderly as WDW.
Everyone had masks.
No one needed policing.

Have only been in a store 8 times since March and was not going to have #9 be on Black Friday. Those few times we have gone out have been to a store like At Home on a weekday as close to opening as possible so they’ve been pretty near empty.

Have been doing a good amount of online shopping this week though for the deals!

We usually go out every year for Black Friday, but not this year.

I have in the past, will never do it again. I'd rather do Cyber Monday (or any other day of the week). Might pay a little more, but will have so much less stress.

I rarely do Black Friday and when I do it's usually later in the day. I did order a gift online from Home Depot and went to pick it up this evening.

Nope. I did my shopping before Thanksgiving, so no need. We worked out in the yard yesterday.

I went to the grocery store but had to drive by an outdoor mall to get there... it was packed. Not a parking spot available and I saw people lined up to get into Sephora and Talbots.

I went to the mall on Tuesday so I could be ahead of any crowds. Most retailers (for clothing anyway) were already doing some form of Black Friday so I got a few good deals on some gifts. While I heard that Black Friday at malls was not nearly as busy as in previous years, it was still a little too crowded for my personal comfort. I've still been doing some light retail shopping during the pandemic but I only do it it times where I'm pretty much alone. I'll either take some time off work during the week or I'll shop for the first hour store openings.
