This is the the tour the last 6 1/2 hours and visits three theme parks.

Can anyone tell me what areas are visited at each park?

Do you still view the animators at MGM and the computer control for Body Wars at Epcot (both are pretty much shut down currently)?

Thanks in advance

Dude

We just took the tour last Monday. First of all it is for seven hours. They took us on a WDW Cruise Line bus. We went to the American Pavillion and saw all of the workings under. Last time we took this tour we went to the AM. Pavillion, The Living Seas and Body wars. This time only Am. Pavillion. We went back stage and costuming for the Parks and how the get their costumes. They also show a few clips Video on the bus when you are driving from one place to another. At MGM went to costuming for the shows and parades and stay in there for awhile. It was very interesting. Then we ate lunch at Mama Melrose. The last time I took the tour we did not see the animation department at all. We did go behind Fantrasmic, but did not do it this time. Then we drove to Central shops and spent a good deal of the time there. We went under and they showed us different things, but last time we went to where the computer for the parade is controlled and this time we did not. Then we came up and saw t he parade. After the parade we walk down main street and she showed us a bunch of details about main street. Then we boarded the bus and back to epcot. At the end they gave each on a really neat pin.
I will tell you there were a couple of hands on things you could do. Don't get me wrong, nothing big and outragous, just a couple of cute things. Last time there was nothing like that.

It was different than the last one we took, but we saw other things than the ones on the first one, so it was alright. I really think alot has to do with your tour guide. This one Her name was cami was alright , but the tour guide on the first one we took was out-of -this world. She was a walking book of info on all things Disney. Even though Cami said she had been doing this for two years, a couple of people stupped her with a couple of questions. Actually I knew the answers, but keep my mouth shut. My DH kept telling I should be doing the tour as I know more than she did. Most of the people on this tour had never been, so they thought she was great and I did not say other wise.

Would I do this tour again, Yes. Everytime you do learn something else.

Thanks for the info webmomom ... DW and I are also DVC members and are looking for something different to do ...

Your insight will help me decide.

Dude

I did backstage magic last year and my trip sounds similiar to the OP first report.

Enjoy
