Anyone getting good rental rates in mid July?

So far the best I can do is with National Emerald Aisle using the Carlson code (are people still using this one?) and entertainment coupon. I got an 11 day rental for $303 . The priceless code gives me a $90 higher rate.

Last summer, I snagged a rate at least $100 cheaper for the same amount of days.

I'm renting for July 11-21.

With AAA, I was able to get an intermediate through Hertz (picking up at Ft. Myers), July 11-July 18, for $151, including tax. I used the additional coupons that are posted on Mousesavers also (available to AAA members).

I have an intermediate car on EA for 17 days in August (4-21). The best rate I got from National was $486 with tax. I used the Carlson code and $20 off Ent. Book coupon. I have not yet been able to get a lower rate.
I was, however, able to book a full-size car at Thrifty for the same time period for $380. I used a 10% off Walmart code (WMRT). Thrifty is off the airport but I am saving $100 and getting a bigger car. Thrifty was offering full-size cars for $119.99/wk when I booked which was about two weeks ago.

I'm about the same as mouseman. $274 for 10 days using carlson code and $20 enter. coupon. Last month when I went the first week of May, my rental rate started falling about 4 weeks prior to my departure, so I'll be watching this time too.

Hi I was just able to book(May 21st) a PREMIUM CAR for 15 days (July 19- August 2) with National for $521.83 using the WWEB+Priceless Code 6600330+Ent. coupon 10008615.This is down from my previous attempts starting about 2 months ago. In fact this is cheaper than I could have booked a FULLSIZE car for (at about $567.00). I also have a res. that I made 2 months ago for a fullsize car at $492.21. This was made using WWEB+Carlson Code+Ent. Coupon. I checked and this price is still the same today. (I know I went UP in PRICE but I really want a Premium or Luxury car)I will KEEP CHECKING and post if I find it lowers again. PLEASE POST if anyone gets better prices!! THANKS, Joan

Mouseman my price is nearly identical to yours.

I used Carlson Code & 2 car class upgrade Ent. Coupon for fullsize, July 10-20 for $296.00

I keep checking, but so far that's the best deal I've seen. I had originally reserved EA for $274, but decided a guaranteed fullsize is worth $20 more.

I got $243 for National EA July 3-11 using Carlson and Ent Book 10008615 coupon with ressie made in April. That same ressie is now up to about $315. I am also hoping things drop closer to my leaving.
