Anyone getting an AP discount at POR for other than Royal Room?

Hi Folks:

I have called twice for the AP discount and was told that the only rooms at POR that are available are the new royal rooms.

Anyone having any luck with standard or garden view rooms?

I called Thursday morning when released and priced out POR standard and royal rooms. We went with the royal room because the price difference was so minimal . . .

When I checked for my dates I could only get a king room or the royal rooms. The AP availability of the royal rooms made me think they are not selling well. Overall, there are slim pickings for the AP rates.

My dates also show only the Royal rooms right now. I would love them but I know my 15 year old son would probably die of embarrassment!! LOL

Not using AP discount. I've been trying to get a standard room @ POR using the RO discount, no luck, they are only offering the royal rooms.
I'm disappointed, I love POR but the Royal Rooms hold no appeal for me.
